Food News | The Brunch Bandwagon

The brunch phenomenon continues to sweep the city, and we’re most definitely reserving a spot on the bandwagon. We’ve compiled a list of the top 5 restaurants that have championed the brunch rankings in terms of menu, atmosphere, and location. Be sure to check them out below; we may just have filled up your weekend morning schedules until Labor Day.

1. Augustine

Croissants and beignets with Nutella and pastry cream are featured on the pastry menu at this high-end French brasserie located in Manhattan’s Financial District. Other menu standouts include Eggs Cardinal and Sea Urchin Spaghettini, and an impressive array of brunch cocktails, including a tasty Bloody Marys.

2. Flora Bar

Located on the lower level of New York City’s Met Breuer, Flora Bar offers innovative twists on brunch ideas, including a Shrimp Roll with hollandaise sauce and a Maple and Sesame Pound Cake served with a sunny-side-up egg and thick-cut bacon. A variety of pastry and coffee options round out the menu at this Upper East Side favorite.

3. Sunday in Brooklyn

This popular spot occupies three stories in Brooklyn’s trendy Williamsburg neighborhood. Diners flock to the rooftop garden and sidewalk cafe for menu favorites like Hazelnut-Maple Praline Pancakes and Biscuits and Gravy. Weekend brunch is served on a walk-in basis, with a limited number of reservations accepted between 10:00 and 10:30 am.

4. ABCV

5. The Bonnie

This cozy brick-and-wood gastropub serves up brunch staples like Eggs Benedict and Chicken and Waffles in a warm and intimate setting. Located in Queens’ eclectic Astoria neighborhood, the popular eatery features a backyard garden and serves weekend brunch from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.

An authoritative source on Manhattan’s Luxury Market, TOWN Residential is pleased to share the Contract Signed Activity Report, an up-to-the-minute report of the last week’s activity broken down by neighborhood and price point. 

During Week 27, June 26 through July 2, 214 contracts – comprised of 114 co-ops, 89 condos, and 11 condops – were signed in Manhattan. 

Of the units in contract, 61 were priced from $1,000,000-$2,000,000 and 45 were priced from $2,000,000-$5,000,000 with an average days on market of 98 and 158 respectively.

General Competition Requirements:

The Summer Photo contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Town Residential LLC and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively “TOWN”).

Eligibility: The Contest is open only to agents and employees of TOWN (collectively “Agents”) who are associated or employed with TOWN as of the date of photo submission and as of the date a winner is announced by TOWN.

Entry Period and How to Win: The Contest will begin Friday, 6/23 at 12:00 am Eastern Time (“ET”) and conclude Sunday, 6/10 at 11:59 pm ET. Agents may enter the Contest each week between Monday at 12:00 am ET and Saturday at 11:59 pm ET (the “Entry Period”).  A winner will be selected each Sunday.  The winner’s photo will be reposted by TOWN.  

How to Enter: Agents may enter the Contest during the Entry Period by submitting a photo to Instagram using a valid Agent Instagram account, tagging “@TownResidential” in the photo and including the #aroundTOWN2017 hashtag in the caption.
